Have you ever received a 30 or 60 day no-cause eviction notice? Or know someone who has? Take our online survey! It’s quick and takes about 5 minutes to complete. The purpose of the survey is to see how no-cause evictions impact tenants and we also want to know if no-cause evictions are being used as a form of retaliation. To take the survey click here or the link below, please share the survey with anyone that has received a 30 or 60 day no-cause eviction notice.

One of the biggest ways that CAT need volunteers is to answer the Renters’ Rights Hotline.  If you live in the Portland metro area and are interested in getting trained to answer the Renters’ Rights Hotline,  (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) to find out about the next training.

CAT needs lots of “behind the scenes” volunteers too.  Here’s just a few things that we need help with on a regular basis.  If you are interested in helping out with one of these, just call 503.460.9702 or (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)!

• Data entry
• Making phone calls- don’t worry, we give you what you need to know!
• Filing, assembling mailings and general office support
• Database experts- we use MS Access
• Tech support in general
• Interpretation and translation- especially Spanish, but other languages also!
• Newsletter and related publication/design

Here is our Volunteer Hotline Calendar and (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) to sign up for a shift
