We will call on Legislators to support policies and investments that advance our vision of stable, affordable housing for all Oregonians. Our 2024 advocacy priorities include:

Rent assistance to prevent homelessness

Funding to prevent closure of homeless shelters

Individual Development Accounts (IDAs)

Preservation of affordable housing

VOTE - Multnomah County Special Election

Housing is on the ballot again! May 16, 2023 voters in Multnomah County will have the opportunity to ensure every single person in eviction court has legal representation. Vote YES, on Eviction Representation for All (Measure 26-238) to keep people housed. Reminder that you should have received your ballot already - and you do not need to wait until May 16th. You can drop it at any of the ballot drop-off sites listed below. 

Ballots can be delivered to any Oregon Official Ballot Drop Site until 8:00 PM on Election Day. Voters who are in line at 8:00 PM may drop off their ballot.

Eviction Representation for All x CAT Canvass Day

Community Alliance of Tenants is teaming up with the Eviction Representation for All campaign in the closing days of the campaign to educate voters about this important opportunity to fund lawyers for every tenant who lands in eviction court through Measure 26-238 in Multnomah County.

We’ll get started at Wellington Park (66th Avenue and Skidmore St in Portland). No experience needed, campaign folks will tell you everything you need to know to successfully canvass.

Find campaign folks in the yellow hats & shirts! Make sure you have the app MiniVAN ready to use on your phone and dress for the weather - it’s gonna be a hot one!
