Tell Legislators: Support $400 million to protect housing stability and prevent homelessness.

A $400 million homelessness prevention package was introduced in the Oregon legislature this week, and it’s all because of you! Last week more than 30 organizations signed on to our proposal as part of the People’s Budget for the state to allocate $100 million to flexible housing funding before the end of the short session. By working together to get this message out, and in partnership with other organizations who value this work, we were able to get our proposal out there for serious consideration. As a result, we have helped to secured $80 million in flexible funding for housing stability and homeless prevention as part of that $400 million housing package. The next step is to do everything in our power to ensure this budget proposal passes. We need your help one more time to ask legislators to support this $400 million dollar proposal for housing.
