CAT proposed a policy package on behalf of their 6,000 members statewide to the Governor.

Additional policy proposal ideas listed below and summarized in the board packet:

· Right to form tenant unions

· Mortgage Interest Deduction reform for affordable housing funding

· Right to Counsel

· Reform of security deposit, fees and applications 

· Removal of no cause evictions.

· Rent Control or other ideas to address increasing costs.

· Emergency Rental Assistance

· Long term rent assistance

· Land Banking

· More money for affordable housing

· Relocation Assistance or other anti-displacement policies

· Decomodify housing

International recording artist Herb Ohta, Jr., is one of today's most prolific 'ukulele masters. Influenced by Jazz, R&B, Latin and Brazilian music, as well as traditional Hawaiian sounds, he puts his stamp on Hawaiian music by pushing the limits of tone and technique on this beautiful instrument.
