THIS SATURDAY: Come one, come all to the upcoming Tenant Call-to-Action Member Meeting!
A group of members called this meeting, for and by CAT members, in response to the mounting crisis we face as renters across Oregon in the upcoming months, with the eviction moratorium set to expire for Oregonians this month. As the only state-wide tenants organization, Community Alliance of Tenants, could be an incredible hub of tenants activism and advocacy. This year has been tumultuous, both for the organization and our wider communities, but there is still enough time to build the collective power we need to protect ourselves and our neighbors in the months to come.
A thriving member-based organization is built from the community up, and is strengthened by our individual and collective experiences, knowledge, skills, and passion. Together we are stronger, braver, and bolder. Which is why we cannot wait until the yearly October member meeting to reconvene as a whole. We hope you can join us for this very special meeting. We need all hands on deck!
What: A special meeting, for and by CAT members, to strategize a Tenant Call-to-Action Campaign and discuss improvements to the organization to better meet the needs of the members.
